pricing & Expectations

 

I try to be paperless! Appointments can be made directly from my contact page or if unfamiliar with the booking technology, call me on 07766006467 / send me an email on brenda@dietarysolutions.co.uk.  On confirmation of your appointment I invite you to my private communication hub, provided by Practice Better, where I keep your notes safe and in one place. 

Payment or insurance details (on the health contact form) are required within 48 hours of booking. Cancellations will not be refunded if within 48 hours of the appointment.

Pre-assessment forms are sent pre appointment to reduce time spent collating information in the appointment so we can spend more time on optimisation and the dietary intervention plan. 

Within seven days of the appointment, I aim to provide a summary (letter) and sample plan as appropriate.  With consent as per privacy policy, correspondence may be copied to appropriate health professionals.

Pricing

Insurance: An initial appointment lasts 30mins. You may find it more useful to book a follow up directly after your initial appointment. The focus of the initial appointment is establishing the problem and optimising your diet and at the follow-up we agree the plan with a meal plan if appropriate. A follow up is 30 minutes.

Self funding: An initial appointment costs £140, lasts one hour and includes optimisation of diet, agreed plan and meal plan if appropriate. A follow up costs £100 and lasts 45 minutes.

I strongly recommend a follow-up to check-in with whether the plan has been effective and/or needs further personalisation.

My price is competitive when you consider ‘what to expect’ and I operate an open door whereby you can contact me (provided the next appointment is paid for) because I understand you may have queries outside the clinic room and the plan may need progressing rather than waiting until the follow-up. It’s a supportive service. I try to move at your pace.

There is no difference in the price for the in-person clinic and online using Zoom. The level of service is the same.
